The Sound of Past Masters – Reimagined
Our aim was to revive the unmistakable sound of the legendary classical saxophone masters of the 1960s and 70s – with a fresh, modern twist. Thanks to Rodrigo’s profound understanding of tonal aesthetics and playing feel, we were able to create two mouthpieces that deliver exactly that: a warm, colorful sound with contemporary response and flexibility.
The Soprano RPL NY
This mouthpiece offers a bold, focused tone with wide projection – ideal for players seeking a powerful, expressive sound with roots in the classical tradition. Perfect for solo passages and dynamic nuance.
The Sopran RPL Paris
The “Paris” brings elegance to the stage: with a slightly softer tonal character and smooth articulation, it’s perfectly suited for chamber music settings or ensemble performances. The sound remains clear and rounded, with a refined depth that inspires.
